St. Francis Xavier Parish (SFX) celebrates over 75 years of history serving Chinese Catholics in the Archdiocese. The story continues to be written by every new parishioner we welcome into our community. What do you need to know about SFX? Here are the basics:

1) Mass and Adoration

There are five Mass liturgies you are invited to celebrate with us in Cantonese, English and Mandarin, including four Sunday Masses and one anticipated Sunday mass on Saturdays. Please see the Worship schedule on your right for Mass times, as well as the Confession and Adoration times.

You are also invited to visit Jesus in the Adoration Chapel, which is open from 7am to 11pm daily.

2) Faith Formation

Parishioners of all ages enjoy opportunities for Faith Formation – from celebrating the Sacraments to building a prayer life with friends in the community.

We have over 20 active ministries in the parish, so there are always opportunities to get involved.

3) Schools

Our Montessori Day Care and elementary school are dedicated to the academic, spiritual and personal growth of children. Our elementary school is the only Catholic school in Vancouver that teaches three languages – English, French and Mandarin Chinese.

To serve you better, please fill out a registration form which can be found in the Information Counter in the Parish Life Center after Sunday Mass or at the Parish Office on weekdays. You may place your completed form in the collection basket at Sunday Mass or drop it off at the Parish Office. Please don’t hesitate to contact us.
